The place smells great, but I have never eaten there. Take-out only - that's why. Those who live closer should go. See also under Jamaican and Haitian, for some other suggestions.
Also, there are several West Indian places along Georgia Avenue, they tend to be clustered near the intersection with Rhode Island. Most are open only for lunch, though, which makes it hard for me to get there.

My husband and I have ordered the chicken roti from here a few times. The Roti is paper thin, the chicken is very juicy and flavorful, ask for yours with some chana and potatoes. The Roti comes with a very spicy pepper sauce.
