Formerly the best Ethiopian food around, but their larger size has made them shakier (go to Rome for the very best). It remains good, but is no longer just mama’s home cooking. Get the Foul (pronounced "fool") for breakfast (crushed fava beans, garnished with fresh onion, jalapeno pepper, sour cream, and fresh tomatoes). I love the fish too. Good tripe.

I went here last night and really, really liked the food here. We ordered a variety of dishes and while everything was delicious, the beef tartar (even at medium it's still quite raw) and the pan-fried lamb cubes with veggies stood out as our favorites. We figured one entree per person and shared, and with all the spongy bread they kept bringing out we were plenty stuffed. Reasonably priced, too--with four meat and two veggie options we spent about $20 per head. For a busy night the service was pretty good.
